Meet Brooklyn
Hello!Brooklyn Talarico is a mom, licensed social worker, and Hudson Valley resident who has lived and worked in the community for the past eight years. Through her work with individuals and families, she has seen firsthand how rising costs and limited access to care impact everyday life. Those experiences led her to run for New York State Assembly in District 105.
Brooklyn is focused on making life more affordable by holding utility companies accountable, protecting access to healthcare, expanding mental health care, making childcare more affordable, and addressing the shortage of housing people can afford. She believes leadership starts with listening - understanding what neighbors are experiencing and bringing those realities to Albany so policies actually reflect real life.
Her approach to public service is grounded, practical, and people-focused. Brooklyn is committed to being an accessible and accountable representative who shows up for her community and works toward solutions that make a real difference for families across the Hudson Valley.
